Free support is available through email, phone (945-3456) or office visits.

 

Hoonah.Net offers free support to its members for:

 

 

 

∙ Initial set up of dial in modem service.

            Configure your computer to connect to Hoonah.Net.

            Configure your computer to handle email and web browser clients.

            Set up your Hoonah.Net email account on our server and additional email accounts as needed.

            Basic troubleshooting and help using email clients and web browsers.

 

∙ Initial Wireless set up.

            Install needed hardware and software for the wireless service.

            Align antenna for best reception. Member is responsible for mounting of the antenna and running the cable.

            Configure your computer to handle email and web browser clients.

            Set up your Hoonah.Net email account on our server and additional email accounts as needed.

            Basic troubleshooting and help using email clients and web browsers.

 

∙ Continued support.

            ∙ Assist our members in connecting to Hoonah.Net either via modem or wireless.

            ∙ Reinstall wireless software upon hardware failure purchased from Hoonah.Net while under our one year warranty.

            ∙ Help resolve email sending and receiving problems.

            ∙ Help resolve browser connection problems.

 

 

What is not coved under free support

                       

∙ Hardware or software installation after the initial set up.

            This includes reinstallation of software for wireless users unless within the one year warranty as stated above.

            Installation of hardware not purchased from Hoonah.Net.

            Installation of any software not directly related to the initial install solely for connection purposes.

 

∙ Computer crashes for any reason.

 

∙ Computer maintenance.

            Removal of virus, worms, Trojan horses, spam or other infections.

            Disk or operating system repairs.

            Hardware failures.

 

∙ Installation or replacement of antennas, cables or adapters.

 

∙ Realignment of antennas.

 

∙ Replacement of failed equipment due to misuse, abuse or damage.

 

∙ Onsite service or house calls.
