Hoonah.Net Election Rules

 

Only Hoonah.Net members in good standing may vote or run for office. In good standing means, account is current and no violations of the User Agreement Form or Hoonah.Net policies. All nominations and voting are done via email. No nominations or votes other than email will be accepted.

 

Nominations open September 11th at 12:00 am and close September 20th at 12:00 pm. To nominate a person send an email to nominee. Please include email address of nominee. Nominee will be notified via email. Members may nominate one person for each open seat. Members may nominate themselves. Two seats open this year!

 

 Nominees will be notified via email by the Administrator on September 21.

Candidates must accept nomination in writing via email before September 25 at 12:00 pm in order to be placed on ballot. Write-in candidates are accepted on ballot. Candidates will be posted on official ballot and emailed to members on September 26th.

 

Votes accepted only by email from September 27th, 12:00 am through October 3, 12:00pm.

 

One vote per Hoonah.Net membership account.

 

Vote accepted on official email ballot only.

 

Successful candidates will be sworn in at the Hoonah.Net board meeting on October 10, 2007.
